Since its inception as Mahavir Travels in 1988, Mahavir Group has grown from its roots in mobility to establish a strong presence in premium automotive retail, while continuing to expand beyond the automotive sector.
Under the leadership of Chairman Yashwant Jhabakh, Mahavir Group entered the premium automotive space in 1998 with its first Mercedes-Benz dealership in Hyderabad. Today, the Group represents Mercedes-Benz, ŠKODA, ISUZU and MG Select through Coastal SELECT, with its mobility portfolio extending across India.
In 2018, the Group expanded into two-wheeler manufacturing through Benelli, marking a new chapter in its motorcycle journey. Since then, its motorcycle portfolio has grown with brands such as Keeway, alongside Moto Vault, its premium motorcycle flagship representing QJ Motor, Moto Morini and Zontes.
Beyond automotive, Mahavir Group continues to expand through Trefoil, Mahavir Sound Room, Indriya and Mahavir Stars — the same commitment to excellence across lifestyle, jewellery and sport.

Inception of Mahavir as Mahavir Travels
Authorised service centre for TATA Motors in India
Became an authorised franchise partner for Mercedes-Benz
Became an authorised dealer for ŠKODA under Mahavir Auto Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd.
Started Mahavir Commercials to sell Mercedes-Benz trucks and buses
Became an authorised dealer for ISUZU under Jhabakh Auto Pvt. Ltd.
Mahavir Sound Room started its operations
Became an authorised dealer for Indian Motor Cycles under Mahavir Deccan Pvt. Ltd.
Acquired DSK Benelli and became a superbike manufacturer
Became authorised franchise partner for Mercedes-Benz in Kochi and Trivandrum under Coastal Star Pvt. Ltd.
Introduced Keeway in the Indian market
Moto Vault debuted in India with premium brands Moto Morini, QJ Motor, and Zontes
