Since its inception as Mahavir Travels in 1988, Mahavir Group has grown from its roots in mobility to establish a strong presence in premium automotive retail, while continuing to expand beyond the automotive sector.
Under the leadership of Chairman Yashwant Jhabakh, Mahavir Group entered the premium automotive space in 1998 with its first Mercedes-Benz dealership in Hyderabad. Today, the Group represents Mercedes-Benz, ŠKODA, ISUZU and MG Select through Coastal SELECT, with its mobility portfolio extending across India.
In 2018, the Group expanded into the Indian two-wheeler market through Benelli, strengthening its presence through manufacturing and a growing portfolio of renowned global brands including Keeway, QJ Motor, Moto Morini and Zontes.
Beyond automotive, Mahavir Group continues to expand through Trefoil, Mahavir Sound Room, Indriya and Mahavir Stars — the same commitment to excellence across lifestyle, jewellery and sport.
