Delivery Incharge
Coordinates and manages the end-to-end vehicle delivery process for customers.
The role
The Delivery Incharge owns the end-to-end vehicle delivery process, translating a completed sale into a smooth, well-documented and memorable handover experience for the customer. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Accounts, the workshop and external agencies such as RTO and insurance, and is accountable for ensuring nothing falls through the cracks between booking and the moment the customer drives away in a fully prepared vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle deliveries with Sales Consultants and customers
- Ensure vehicles are ready (PDI, accessories, documentation, registration) prior to the delivery date
- Maintain a delivery pipeline tracker to flag at-risk deliveries in advance
- Verify and complete all delivery-related documents: invoice, registration, insurance, warranty card, accessories checklist
- Ensure hypothecation and finance-disbursement documentation is complete before delivery where applicable
- Conduct a professional and consistent delivery experience, including vehicle feature orientation
- Coordinate a delivery ceremony/photo moment consistent with brand standards
- Liaise with Accounts, RTO agents and the workshop to resolve any bottleneck delaying delivery
- Escalate documentation or vehicle-readiness delays to the Sales Manager in advance of the promised date
Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 3-5 years in dealership operations, sales support or delivery coordination.
- Documentation (RTO/insurance/finance)
- Coordination and customer handling skills
- MS Office / DMS usage
- Working knowledge of vehicle registration and hypothecation processes
- Event/experience-planning skills for a consistent delivery ceremony
