Test Drive Coordinator
Organizes and manages the test-drive experience for prospective customers.
The role
The Test Drive Coordinator organizes and manages the test-drive experience for prospective customers, ensuring vehicles are ready, routes are safe, and the drive itself gives customers a confident first impression of the EV's performance and features, since a test drive often does more to convince a first-time EV buyer than any brochure.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate test drives; ensure vehicles are clean, charged and ready
- Accompany or arrange for customers to experience the vehicle and explain key EV driving characteristics
- Ensure test-drive vehicles are maintained, charged and available as needed
- Coordinate with Sales Consultants and the Driver/Valet on scheduling and vehicle logistics
Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any discipline; valid driving licence required.
- Experience: 2-4 years in automobile sales support/test-drive coordination.
- Test-drive route planning and vehicle readiness checks
- Customer handling during the test drive, including explaining EV driving experience (regenerative braking, acceleration, noise levels)
- Basic vehicle upkeep and safety checks
