Drives used-vehicle sales, including used EVs, to prospective buyers.
The role
The Used Car Consultant drives sales of used and exchange vehicles, including used EVs as the business's EV parc grows, to prospective buyers looking for a lower entry point into vehicle ownership.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers interested in used vehicles, present available stock and negotiate sales
- Achieve assigned used-vehicle sales targets
- Coordinate with the Car Evaluator on available exchange stock and pricing
Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 1-3 years in used-vehicle sales.
- Used-vehicle sales process and pricing
- Consultative selling and negotiation skills
- Basic understanding of used-EV considerations (battery health, warranty transfer) to guide customers
